Value of goods
High-value cargo entrustment: If the value of the goods sent to Saudi Arabia is high, such as the value of goods sent to Dhahran exceeds US$13,250, or the value of goods sent to Jeddah and Riyadh exceeds US$2,500, a power of attorney issued in the name of the importer is required (the power of attorney is valid for one year for the courier company).
Saudi Arabia Product Certification Requirements
SASO Certification:
Mandatory Scope: Home appliances, power tools, cosmetics, and building materials (excluding medical, food, and military products).
Purpose: Official Saudi Arabian quality and safety certification. Uncertified goods will be rejected.
Cosmetics/Shampoo: Requires lard/fat testing
Toys: Requires EN71 certification (EU toy safety standard, including physical, chemical, and mechanical testing, and CE marking).

01. Packaging Requirements
Must be secure and secure to ensure no damage during transit.
Dammam → Riyadh Transit: Mandatory pallet reinforcement (fines apply if not used).
02. Labeling Requirements
Language: Arabic/English (appliance/power tool manuals must be in Arabic).

External packaging and product: Silk-screen "Made in China" ("Made in PRC" is prohibited).
